  Middle Earth Cottage is a family friendly, three bedroom cottage in the small settlement of Rangataua, just a short drive from Ohakune. We enjoyed the semi-rustic atmosphere and well-equipped kitchen, but especially the woodburner in the living room and the good supply of dry firewood. The occasional train passes by, but otherwise this is a very quiet location with lovely rural views.
